Llangasty Hall Hirers Agreement, full terms
General Terms
By hiring the premises, you agree to the following

Your authorised representative will be present during the hiring and ensure
compliance with this Agreement.

Your authorised representative will ensure any legal requirements such as
safeguarding and insurance are in
place prior to commencement of the hire and that the hall is suitable for your
stated purpose.
·
The hall accepts no liability for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any
person during or as a result of the
hirer’s use of the premises. All persons using the premises do so at their own
risk.
· The hall shall not be liable for any loss incurred to the hirer as a result of any event happening rendering
the
premises unfit for use or which cause the
premises to be closed or the hiring to be interrupted or cancelled.
· A security bond may be requested from the hirer. At the end of the hire, we will inspect the hall and at our
discretion, we may need to retain part of the bond to rectify any damage.
· Users of the hall must respect our neighbours and keep evening noise to a minimum especially when
leaving the
premises.
·
The surrounding fields have livestock in them. Do not block the farmer’s access
and do not disturb the stock.
· All dogs must be kept under control and any mess must be removed as this presents a danger
especially to
children.
·
Smoking is not allowed in the hall.
·
The hall and surrounding areas must be left in a clean state.
·
All litter must be removed from the site including kitchens and toilets.
·
Tables and chairs must be stacked away as directed by the Booking Secretary.
·
Lights, heaters and water heaters must be switched off and checked before
leaving the premises.
·
Use of the open fire is restricted and only available by prior agreement of the
Booking Secretary.
·
People cannot stay overnight at the hall unless they have prior, written
agreement from the Booking Secretary.
·
Any issues must be reported so that they can be promptly resolved e.g. light
bulbs.
·
Keys must be kept safe and returned to the lockbox. Do not share the code.
Licences
Please remember that the hall
does not
have a Premises Licence for the supply of alcohol.
You have permission for a performance of live music, the playing of recorded
music, or an exhibition of a film but only in accordance with the Deregulation
Act 2015 between the hours of 8.00am and 11.00pm.
(i)
You are responsible for ensuring that screenings of film abide by age
classification ratings.
(ii)
You agree that if regulated entertainment outside of the Deregulation Act 2015
is to be held you will obtain a TEN (Temporary Event Licence) from the licensing
authority.
(iii)You
agree to inform us of your intention to provide alcohol at the event and to
obtain a TEN from the licensing authority. It is your responsibility to obtain a
TEN before your event. If in doubt, check with the licencing department at Powys
CC.
